I have an EMACHINES computer and I have never had any problems transferring my pictures from my HP Photosmart M525 digital camera using a USB cord until today. Someone told me my computer might not have enough rams because of too many computer games being downloaded. All it says is "Device Unknown" and I feel like I have tried everything to get it to work!

no it is not because it that if you said you have been using this cam with your computer well there is eather something wrong your usb cable or your cam, check your cord and make sure there is no dirt on it and plug it to a different usb hub, like the ones on the back if you use the front ones or the front ones if you use the back ones

I am looking for a website with full game downloads that are pretty reasonable…and ones i can download to my computer thanks!!
Please no online games!! I want downloads to download to the computer and i Like mostly RPG games

If you don’t mind the fact that they’re older games this site has a decent amount of RPG’s that you can download for free, you can play them using DOSBox.

But you need a new pc for those.

I’ve recently been playing the games Morrowind and Oblivion on the Pc, and i really like them, so i was wondering if there are any other games out there like morrowind.

I’d definitely recommend World of Warcraft, Warcraft, Knights of the Old Republic, and Knights of the Old Republic 2 if you enjoy Oblivion. I’ve never played Morrowind, but if it’s anything like Oblivion, I’m sure it must be great too.

Hi all! I understand that Mac has a Windows shell program that allows PC games to be played on a Mac. Does anyone have any experience playing some of the upper end pc games in this way on a Mac? I am looking to buy a computer, would like to purchase a Mac but I am a HUGE gaming fan and the Mac just doesn’t cut it when it comes to gaming choices….

I’d stay on the PC for gaming. You’ll have to emulate the PC on the mac, so you’ll be running the emulator under the game. It will be a double hit on your processor to run the game.

Hi! I’m wondering if anyone could name me off new online games that are free! I’m basically looking for MMO’s. Games that you can level up and use skills and junk. But I have played so many of the older games, like runescape, maplestory, flyff etc. I’m wondering if there are any newer games of that genre?
If not any suggestions on some games, even if they are not new?

Whenever I have some homework to do, or just have some free time, i just plop down in front of the computer and start to play some online video games. Then I regret it because I stay up really late doing the work that could have been done hours ago. I realize i have a habit, if not addiction, so how do i stop it?

Ah yes… procrastinating. I hate distractions & computers can be a big one!

My advice to you is to try to avoind using the computer as much as possible. Try to stop thinking about it or decrease/limit the amount of time you spend on the computer.

You can always unplug your computer. Also, finish your homework first.

I am getting a gaming PC and need a good list of really amazing games. I have all current game consoles so no ports please.

Well the best PC exclusive game out right now is World of Warcraft in my personal opinion. It’s an MMORPG and a uniquely PC experience if that’s what you’re looking for. Yes there are other great titles like Command and Conquer series, Diablo, Warcraft III, and a host of first person shooters like Quake 4, Battlefield 2, Fear, Prey, Half-Life 2, CS, etc… But WoW pretty much makes you forget about everything else including eating and sleeping (in real life).

I have a gaming pc and i have an old 19" tube type screen you know what i mean? So how big a screen can it take with an Asus Nvidia 9600Gt SILENT 512 Mb graphics card?

It depends. The 9600 is a mid-level card (being a more expensive version of the 8600).

As for a CRT, yes you should be able to use it just fine…now, if you’re saying you want to upgrade FROM the 19" CRT…you should have no problems.

It’s not the detail settings that you’ll have issues with, it’s the RESOLUTION you’ll have problems with. The more screen real estate you want, the more the card is driven. I’ve seen bench tests for 27" monitors next to 24" monitors that had higher figures because the smaller screen was set to a higher screen resolution setting.

The best thing to do is keep the screen size reasonable. After all…a 20" monitor 18 inches from your face gives a better picture, and has a better RESOLUTION than a 52" monitor across the room.

In any case, if you are going to upgrade…make sure you also patch your drivers. I believe nVidia has put out a couple (2? 3??) driver patches since the 9600 came out well over a year ago.
