These games both are the Sims 2 on PC. But one of them is single disc, and the other one has four discs. I remember playing on my cousin’s four-disc one a couple of years ago, and I remember it was really advanced. I would like to buy the four-disc one now for myself. But is it any better than the single-disc one?

Sims2 (the original game) came on 4 CD disks
Sims2 Deluxe (or Double Deluxe) each come on 1 DVD disk
Sims2 Deluxe has a complete version of Sims2, plus the Nightlife expansion
Sims2 Double Deluxe is Sims2, Nightlife and Celebration Stuff
The reason the newer games have several titles on 1 disk, and the original needed 4 disks, is that DVDs hold about 10 times the information that a CD does.
If you have a DVD-rom drive on your computer, get Sims2 Deluxe. It should be the same price as Sims2, but you get an expansion pack with it. Sims2 Double Deluxe has much higher graphics requirements because of the Celebration Stuff, so many people, especially people with laptops, have trouble with it.

I’ve been hearing many women online talking about how their husbands spend hours online or playing video or computer games, to the point where it is ruining their marriages. Some have said their husbands basically eat, sleep, work and then come home and spend the rest of their time on the game. I’d like to know if this really is a problem out there or not. (If it is, I’d like to write a magazine article about it to make people more aware of the problem.)

That’s pretty much all my husband does. He does take breaks from the computer to watch TV, though. Usually, if he’s home, he’s on the computer. I spend much of my time at the computer, as well, but it’s mostly because I’m trying to spend time with him. We definitely don’t do very much together or talk very much. I try to talk to him, sometimes, while he’s playing his games but he doesn’t really pay attention to what I’m saying. I’m usually ready to go to bed at 10:00 while he stays up till 2:00 a.m. (& later) on the computer. I guess I’ve gotten used to living like this but I can’t say that I’m happy.

I have some used pc games and a number of PS2 games that I don’t play anymore and was wondering how much EB or gamestop will give me. The pS2 games were used but the PC games were brand new when I got them and all are in decent condition. Or should I go sell my games on ebay? Opinions are welcomed.

It depends on the game. If it is a recent game, such as Madden 09 or Call of Duty, you can expect about $25-$40. Also, if the game is popular, such as Guitar Hero or a game like Halo 3, it will increase the price.

Of course, all prices depend on the game’s condiditon.

It won’t change how fast or slow your computer runs. It will take up some of your hard disk space but most hard disks these days have enough room. Glad to help

If I am playing a game on my PC and need to use – for example, Ctrl+F Windows will take me out of the game and back into windows and perform whatever the ctrl key function is, how can i stop this happening when playing the games?

Im downloading a game and it keeps jumping from fast downloading to slow and then it stays at slow downloading.. Tell me how to fix it pls

This is normal. The speed will vary depending on how many seeders / leechers are connected to your PC at that moment and at what speed they are uploading the file to you. Your download speed will always start slow at the beginning and it will stabilize in 30 minutes most of the time. But be sure to pick a file with the best seed / leech ratio !

If you’re using the internet while you download, the download speed will drop a lot, so I recommend you to leave the PC on while you’re asleep to get these done quickly.

However, there are a few things that can speed things up. Go to http://www.speedtest.net and test your connection speed out. Then, choose the settings that correspond to your results.

Also, allow an UNLIMITED speed for uploading. Don’t set limits. In this world, you get what you give (and that’s real). This will NOT affect your download speed EVER.
