My dad has just got a pc with this Graphics on it , Will it play pc games ?

Like Fifa 2008 and other new Games ect ?

Here’s a list of games I have been able o play even at decent settings and framerate on my gma 950:

Dreamfall Longest Journey
Call of Cthulu
Farcry
GUN
Star Trek Elite Force 2
Flatout

As you see, some of these games aren’t that old, or at least I don’t think so. So there is some gaming fun to be had on this graphics card. But if by "new games" you mean 2007 games, I don’t think many of them will be playable.
They made a gma 950 compatibility list, and there are several forum threads where people have asked the similar question you are asking. You can search on google for such threads and see if any game listed interests you.

By which I mean it can’t be too long or too short but is not a large rpg like runescape or maple story. I like games like Endless Migration and Amoprhous + and Zilch because of the enormous amount of achievements you can get. Thanks in advance, and nothing too bloody.

Couldn’t find much on the internet. I was thinking about 5-10% of pc games are pirated.

eg. for every 100,000 copies of gears of war that are sold, 10,000 are pirated?!!!

I’m not looking for a fancy answer, just the real number with a link.

when i down load games it will come on like its going to play then turn off back to desktop view

If your games need internet connection, check your firewall settings: you will need to explain your firewall that you allow these game(s) to connect to some other computers.

Hi, i wanted to ask what good fantasy games their are and coming that are adventure of course and other things etc.

Dont know if your into that kind of stuff, but how about Oblivion Elder Scrolls: IV. It’s a very fun RPG game, and it has virtually infinite quests. VERY FUN! DAYS OF GAMEPLAY, IF NOT WEEKS, OR MONTHS!!!

More specifically, is there a program that, when activated an the fly, could close all unnecessary running programs in order to get maximum memory and power allocated to the game that I would like to play? I have been searching for something like this because it would make playing games on the pc a lot better. Thanks

Thing is, "unnecessary programs" is quite arbitrary. What you deem to be un-necessary may not be so. Or may be different for others.

Ram is dirt cheap, so getting an extra gig is like 50$.

Furthermore cpu versus gpu power differs a lot from game to game.

What I mean is, you could be playing a game that is very GPU intensive (Graphics processing unit/video card) and closing all programs would make very little difference in this case.

Most background tasks are just that: background tasks, they utilise very little if any cpu time unless absolutely needed. If some programs are still in memory that are really useless, it is better to prevent them from running to begin with or close them when done.

I would not download anything off of limewire that is for software, your screaming for a virus to hit your computer. There all over limewire.

Any good fantasy adventure games that are free online? Preferably something lifelike and were you have a customized avatar:)
