Example: I have a windows XP and I play pc games on it. Would games for windows work on it? Are they any different?

I download a lot of games like Diner Dash, etc, at least 10 from different sites. My last computer died on me, and I wondered if that was why. This computer has 6 GB memory. dont listen to him he’s wrong theres 1024mb in a gb so downlaoding small games wont really make a difference a small game will be roughly 120mb your computer is proberbly 120gb of space thats 120000mb of space
