In Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Adventure?

I watch the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games I saw somthing about them on the adventure.. (I think) do they have adventure mode instead of mini games?
its the olympic games… what would the adventure be? its just minigames and such.
