How much would I have to pay for a good PC tat can play Games such as fallout 3 and grand theft auto 4?
I don’t mean an actual gaming PC but a good PC that has the power to play games without problems?

You can build one for about $700. If you look around, you might be able to find a pre-built for about $1200 or so.

And why the thumbs-down?
I can only assume it would come from someone who knows absolutely nothing about building PCs. I’ve answered plently of questions here where I detailed the parts on good sales that don’t cost much and come together to build a good gaming PC. I’m not going to research all of the prices right now, but you can search right here on Y!A and find plenty of times I’ve already done it.
And I’m not talking about ass like a 9800GT. A GTX 260 Core 216 can be bought for $140 after rebates if you look hard enough.

I just built a gaming PC and wondering if there is any good games out there for PC (online/multiplayer only). I currently have

World of Warcraft, Crysis: Warhead, Farcry 2, Call of Duty 4, Counter Strike, and Warhammer.

cod 5 is fun, combat arms 2 and far cry 3 both rock out.

I’m quite excited at the thought of PC gaming as I have not done it for several years. Recently I sold my consoles and gathered the money to buy quite a nice custom-built gaming PC. I’ve always been into shooters/rpg and action adventure. What are some really fun pc games that I should buy?

I recently built a gaming pc with the latest gforce graphics chip and im looking for a simulator to push the graphics. Are there any like Wipeout for the PC? eg. fast, colourful, futuristic with a techno soundtrack?

Dude, wipeout originated on the PC. I used to play it when I was like 12. Just look it up on ebay.

It’s a PC that is used for everything pretty much, hence it’s the family PC. I am really into video games, and free to play is awesome, but I’m worried that downloading multiple games would really slow down/overburden our computer. I’m guessing I should get a gaming PC to download games on?

I have downloaded so many MMO’s onto my computer that most of the icons on my desktop are games, it does not affect my computer in any way. And I dont have a gaming PC, its a normal PC from ‘02 and it has 1.5GB of RAM. And no video card, just a crappy chipset that came with the computer.

I am building a gaming pc for myself to play World of warcraft and some other pc games, and was wondering if I had to install Windows Xp or Vista to play them

Either one but you will an operating system to run any program on your PC.

Any type, Any make. As long as its in the U.K-Cheapest You know of and is Very good with High quality games.

Start with CodeProject – they have some great articles and tutorials. You’ll need to create an account to download.

If you have a copy of Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 you can download the windows mobile SDKs and start developing at no additional cost.

If you don’t have VS 2005 and you’re not running Windows Vista you can download Embedded Visual Studio 4.0 free of charge. Using the Pocket PC 2003 SDK with EV 4.0 you can compile games and applications that will run on Windows Mobile 6 devices.

1.Elder Scrolls Oblivion (2006). Huge Immersive game world . Best looking game at the time of its release . Still playing it .
