Hello, I would like to buy a Desktop with the best graphics card and a lt of memory, at least 3GB ram, in order to play the new video games that are now available on PC : Far cry 2, Fallout 3, GTA4 ( soon^^), Warcraft and so on..
It’s actually two part question… Is it possible to have a good Desktop these days for $500..?

My Dad says he can’t buy the games for me because we don’t have enough space on the computer. Is there another game, preferably online, were you can create families and houses and such?

yea lots of good games.. there is sims 2, world of warcraft, call of duty 4, guitar hero 3, grand theft auto, spore (never played spore but it sounds kind of cool) and lots more. go to a game or electronic/computer store and see for yourself.

What games do you recomend for someone that likes role-playing games? I play diablo, oblivion and WoW, but i want to try something new…Any suggestions?

i reccomend Starcraft.

What are some pc games that are really pay attention to detail. im really interested in the SAS and special forces and realistic FPS games. ive already played all the call of dutys and brothers in arms and medal of honour.

My PC specs are pretty good so it doesnt matter about the quality of the game
do you guys no of any games that are set in modern day?? like COD 4 etc……. and they need a campaign coz our internet is too slow for online play

L4D is really good obviously if you’re into zombies, but if you have a good enough computer for it, a good modern game that’s very graphically intense would be Crysis. For sure. It’s one of the most realistic games I know of. I’m not sure if has campaign though, so you may want to check that out.

The Half-Life 2 games are pretty awesome games that have storylines too, and since there are lots of episodes, there’s always more for you to be able to play! :]
I’ve heard that F.E.A.R. 2 is good too, but extremely scary. Something I can’t personally handle, but good for others.

Though my all time favorite FPS game is Counter-Strike: Source since it has mods for like EVERYTHING, and is pretty modern. It’s not too graphically intensive though if my computer can run it. But it’s pretty decent. You should check it out, for sure. :]

I’m looking 4 some kl pc games. I like adventure , action and simulation games. My computer isn’t that good so I need smth that will work on it……. sims 2 works gr8 on it. sa , will U pls help me ?

I’d recommend Half Life. The graphics aren’t that great, so it will play on your computer, but it’s an awesome game. It’s an fps, and possibly the greatest shooter of all time (in my opinion). Get the platinum pack so you can play the opposing force, and blue shift expansions.

You may also be able to play Half Life 2. It has an even better story and if you get "The Orange Box" it’s like 5 games in one (including Portal, which is awesome). Check the required specs against what your computer has though, you need a decent graphics card and processor to run it.

This is all assuming you like first person shooters, of course.

Is there a list of pc games that have been tested that work well on a mac using bootcamp with windows xp? I have a macbook pro and have noticed that pc games are much cheaper than mac games. So I figured it would be worth it to get windows xp and try some games out using bootcamp.

When you run XP as a dual boot, it’s native: it’s the same as if you were running it on PC hardware.

So as long as your Mac hardware meets the game’s system requirements, you can play any PC game.

I’d like something 15" or over and can play pc games well. It’s gotta be cheap like around $500. I would like for it to play Diablo 2 and the soon to come out Diablo 3. Also good battery life and won’t overheat. I’m sorry im so picky. I would appreciate any suggestions.
