I have a problem when I go to download a game from yahoo games it downloads then freezes my computer?

This just happened recently my kid downloads trial games and they were no problem then one day when she did it she put it on my desktop as usual and it froze my computer and it would also not open the game tried recovery it didn’t work any suggestions
Could be not enough room on your graphics card in PC or bad memory… it happened to me.
