I’ve played all good MMO’s this decenia and I need to admit this has a place in my top3, perhaps even my nr1, I had a great time at WoW vanilla but now WOW is thrash. Anyway people who are seaching for a new MMO, I would recommend to give this game a try, it’s so awesome! Defently When you enter the mines of moria, this game has so much to offer and do, WoW sadly not

@HappiTransmission lol nigga that was hella funny. I totaly understand you. I just recently reactived my account. I left off at level 55 in the middle of moria. Then i hear all these weird names, i’m like what the are you talking about, just say that spot in this zone……..
Lotro is fun, but those names…….fuckin HATE em!

@pjrevello501 I love Tolkien’s world, and that was the main reason i bought LotRO
(i like mmorpgs a bit too). It is based on the trilogy, and on the silmarillion a bit i think. ofcaurse there are many new things or changes. But think travelling through middle earth(ffs i loved when i climped up amon soul), helping the famous heroes
i haven’t bought siege of mirkwood yet, but i will buy it for sure…i love the wooden realms of mirkwood

is this game true to the books? (i heard that it was based on the sillmarillion not the trilogy) is it worth buying from a Tolkien fans perspective? (im not rely a big fan of MMOs)

@H0p3G1v3r okay, its around $15 dollars per month. Maybe $14 im not sure. You will probably get all the games and expansions already inside this one as i did when i bought “Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria” i was given the older disk too. You may have to research this. Enjoy man!
